The biggest change for the FT6 Pro shoulder pads over previous models will be the all-new Aer-Tec thermoregulation system. This enhances air circulation, sweat evaporation and regulation of body heat. Moving right into the construction of the Jetspeed FT6 Pro Shoulder Pads, CCM is using a maximum lightweight full exposed foam-only design, which is optimized to protect elite players. The construction of the CCM FT6 Pro Shin Guards has kept to its anatomical narrow fit design. Moving to the knees and shin caps of the CCM FT6 Pro Shin Guards, CCM used optimized anatomical JDP kneecaps. This improved kneecap flex point offers more freedom of movement and helps to disperse impact force away from the knee. It will also offer a removable/adjustable flofoam knee comfort pad. This is paired up with a floating compress-molded HD foam calf guards which offer lightweight but tough protection and have abrasion resistance at the bottom to help with skate tongues.

Molded premium HD foams that are connected to the knee liner will offer a close to the body feel with pro level protection. To hold everything in place, CCM used an upper lock strap with a stretchable comfort cushion and an adjustable calf strap for a customized fit.

Moving right into the construction process, the CCM Jetspeed FT6 Pro Elbow Pads use a 3-piece flexmotion construction. This improved construction better follows the elbow’s natural movements, allowing for easier movement when stick handling, passing, and shooting. The pro level forearm is constructed of compress-molded exposed foam which provides the highest level of lightweight protection while the Aer-Tec suspension system provides ventilation and aids airflow.

The bicep area was constructed with compress molded exposed DRYFOAM liner coupled with max ventilation for cooling. Optimized articulation at the biceps provides better mobility to keep protection in place.

For the elbow cap, the Jetspeed FT6 Pro Elbow Pads will have a molded PE cap with JDP construction and an exposed EVA foam cover. The JDP cap is designed to disperse impact force away from the elbow joint and the EVA foam cover adds even more protection.

CCM also incorporated a newly redesigned strapping system on the JetSpeed FT6 Pro Elbow Pads. This strapping features a refined Y-shaped middle lock strap with anti-slippage and a nylon forearm strap that allows for a better fit without compromising movement.
